City info

Munich is the most attractive city in Germany when it comes to art, culture, fashion, shopping, leisure and sightseeing. The English Garden, Botanical Garden and Olympic Park attract thousands of visitors. The Residenz and the Nymphenburg Palace are two important buildings in the middle of the city.
Munich also occupies a leading position in an international comparison. In a unique combination, Munich offers its guests a climate of tolerance, enjoyment of life and dynamism - factors that represent a high synergy effect for every trade fair.

Another highlight and a dream destination for guests from all over the world for two weeks every year: the Munich Oktoberfest.
Traditionally, the Oktoberfest begins with the arrival of the festival landlords. Afterwards it is called "O-zapft is" at the official "Wies`n-Anstich" by Munich's first mayor. More information about the Oktoberfest can be found on the official website of the city of Munich.
