Messe Frankfurt Trade Fairs India will in future organise Busworld India. The license to organise the event has been acquired by the Indian subsidiary of the Frankfurt exhibition specialists from Busworld International CVBA, Roeselare, Belgium. The international trade fair strengthens the group's presence on the subcontinent and its position as an organiser in the mobility and logistics sector. Busworld India, which is held every two years, will take place August 27 to 29, 2020 in Bangalore. First staged in Kortrijk, Belgium in 1971, with eight events it is now considered the world's largest brand event in the bus industry. Busworld India premiered in 2005. In 2018, it hosted 115 exhibitors from eleven countries and 8,000 visitors. For the Messe Frankfurt group, the Indian subcontinent is a focus market with currently more than 20 fairs and around 40 conferences.
