The Nürnbergmesse Group has taken over its largest international subsidiary to date by an 80-percent investment in the Greek market leader Forum. CEO Roland Fleck: "In Forum, we have a trade show organiser that fits perfectly into our event portfolio". Biofach, Chillventa, Fachpack and Braubeviale will in future stand alongside strong Greek members of the product family. Nürnbergmesse CEO Peter Ottmann: "In fact, we are the first German exhibition organiser to be represented locally by its own exhibition company, the nation's number one." According to the exhibition executives, the reach of Forum "across the entire region, from the Balkans, through Turkey and as far as Italy, is not to be underestimated, and we are sure that involvement by Nürnbergmesse was a tactically important step in our strategy of internationalisation and continuing our dynamic corporate growth." The eight events are well established on the market, Ottmann enthused. The Bavarian exhibition experts also see "considerable synergy potential" in the event portfolio. What is more, it would also produce new exhibitor and visitor target groups for the fairs in Nuremberg.
