Three locations and excellent service

The Olympic City of Innsbruck is the ideal destination for conferences, meetings, seminars, incentives, fairs and corporate and other events. Every year, more than 450 events take place at the Congress Innsbruck, Messe Innsbruck, and congresspark igls locations. The three venues of the Congress Messe Innsbruck (CMI) impress with their central location and short distances to surrounding infrastructure. Effectively, they offer more time for lectures, networking, or supporting events. When it comes to international conferences, Tirol is second only to Vienna in Austria according to a MIRA study.  The clear mountain air and refreshing drinking water, sourced from the surrounding mountains, are unique even in Austria. Even the royal Hapsburg family appreciated such factors, twice ruling their lands from Innsbruck. Impressive structures and monuments such as the “Golden Roof” bear witness to this history.

Further services

PIEGGER – THE CATERER for major customers

As a caterer with many years of experience at Messe Innsbruck (Exhibition Center Innsbruck), the “Messegastronomie Landmetzgerei Piegger” serves around 100,000 guests a year. The second string to our bow is catering beyond the trade fair site, looking after, amongst others, some renowned major customers in Tyrol. All of our meat products are sourced from our in-house “humane” butchery using local animals which have been naturally reared. Priority is also given to local products such as vegetables and other ingredients.

PIEGGER - International and individual

Josef Piegger and Alfred Wieser, the two company managers, see the most important task of trade fair catering as always providing the most challenging cuisine: Whether it’s food from the buffet or served at the table, both the needs of the local public and also those of international guests must be catered for. The more international an event, such as the International Congress of Sports Journalists at the start of 2012, the more it’s a question of having regard to ethnic and/or religious requirements or eating habits such as kosher, sharply or exotically spiced.

PIEGGER QUALITY – that means the greatest care and the best ingredients chosen strictly in accordance with the Purity Law for the preparation of our meat products.
