Messukeskus Helsinki, Expo and Convention Centre is increasingly committed to promoting responsible tourism by joining Visit Finland's Sustainable Travel Finland programme. The Sustainable Travel Finland label is a mark of valuable and long-term work for sustainable tourism and the exhibition centre is proud to have received the recognition. "The programme brings more tools and a strong partner network to our long-standing responsibility work. It is great to join forces with Visit Finland and other companies in the Sustainable Travel Finland programme to tell our international audience about responsible tourism and events", says Maria Mroue, marketing and communications director at Messukeskus. Messukeskus' Sustainability Report lists, item by item, all the work done so far within the UN Sustainable Development Goals (Agenda 2030). A significant part of the sustainability report are actions to promote climate protection and responsible consumption. Messukeskus is also the city of Helsinki's climate partner and is aiming for 110% carbon neutrality by 2029. (kf)     /messukeskus.com/sustainable-travel-finland-label-for-messukeskus
