Klik adjusts event solution to support Covid-19 safety measures
Tech company Klik launched a new hybrid event solution that includes their smart wearables, initially created for engagement, to help create a safer environment for in-person attendees. Added capabilities such as contact tracing to inform people at risk when someone is tested positive, touchless interactions to avoid handshakes and brochures handling, and crowd management to easily respect the crowd density standards and to control traffic flow all help event organizers navigate safety measures.
The objective is to create one collective experience for both in-person and virtual attendees at an event by adapting Klik’s event platform. This platform gives the event planner the flexibility to organize in-person, virtual, or hybrid events.
Charles Truong, President of Klik, says “Most of the features in our hybrid event solution already existed for live events. However, we adapted the platform to make it more engaging for remote audiences and to allow connections between in-person and virtual attendees. On top of adding live streaming, we developed networking video calls for one-on-one meetings or group discussions. We also improved our gamification to boost the engagement of virtual attendees”.
