The Thailand Convention & Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) has joined forces with the Thai Exhibition Association (TEA) to promote the 'new normal' of exhibitions management and operations. The Exhibitions New Norm SOP (Exhibitions New Norm Standard Operation Procedures) has been conceived as a guideline for all businesses in the exhibition ecosystem. It provides the markets the industry serves with the assurance that they can trade safely and securely in Thailand in the wake of the COVID-19 epidemic. By incorporating the procedures in all aspects of exhibitions businesses, from organisers and service providers through to the businesses attending these events as exhibitors or visitors, business professionals will vastly mitigate the risk of spreading COVID-19, TCEB states. Included in the programme is extra financial support of up to THB 300,000 (8,300 EUR) for trade shows held in Thailand this fiscal year, through hosted buyer support, technology support and hygienic management support.
