Michael Wiedekamp joined Hamburg Messe und Congress (HMC) on April 1, 2020 as new director of guest events. He has taken over from Anja Ehrke, who has left HMC after 19 years at her own request to pursue new career opportunities. In his previous position, Wiedekamp was events manager at the restaurant and brewery 'Schanzenhöfe - Altes Mädchen' which is located just a few metres from the Hamburg Messe exhibition site. At Hamburg Messe und Congress, 40-year-old Wiedekamp will be responsible for supervising and implementing 30 to 40 guest events a year. (ch)
