Fira de Barcelona has launched a digital platform called FiraCampusVirtual to replace the Ensenyament and Futura trade fairs that cannot take place due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. This initiative will take place from May 20 to 24, 2020 with the aim of allowing young people and students to be able to guide their professional future and learn about a wide range of academic courses at high school level, university degrees, higher education, arts studies, vocational training, as well as masters and postgraduate courses. The director of FiraCampusVirtual, Laura Pararols, stressed that "we continue to be committed to our vocation of helping young people in making a key decision for their future". The virtual event aims to facilitate contact between the attendees and the training centres to encourage dialogue between them and thus help students to choose the best path to continue their academic career and set their professional life on track.
