As part of EduMonday at the first virtual edition of the IMEX trade show on 11 May 2020, a session of the She Means Business conference will take place at 14.00hrs. Three female leaders will speak on the subject „Corona crisis: Women in business & events making tough decisions“ and share their learnings.

Gabriela Suhoschi, Director for World Water Week & Prizes, had to cancel this year’s World Water Week due to COVID-19. Gabriela will talk about her vision for the coming year. Heike Mahmoud, COO of the CCH - Congress Center Hamburg is involved in one of Germany’s largest construction site. The CCH is being modernized and planned to open in August. Heike talks about how the corona crisis influences this major project and how she and her team handle the situation. Carina Bauer, CEO of the IMEX Group, had to cancel IMEX in Frankfurt. Carina will talk about the impact for the team and the meeting industry and how she sees the industry in the short and longer term. The session will be moderated by Jessie States, Director, MPI Academy of Meeting Professionals International.

The participation of the EduMonday program and the She Means Business session is free of charge, but participants need to register here.

She Means Business is an international conference on Diversity, Gender Equality and Female Empowerment of the IMEX Group, tw tagungswirtschaft with the support of MPI - Meeting Professionals International was planned for 11 May 2020 at IMEX in Frankfurt, but was cancelled due to COVID-19.
