In the eyes of many people, Hamburg is not only the "Gateway to the world" but also Germany's most attractive city. No wonder more and more tourists and business travelers are frequenting the lively metropolis adorned by the Elbe river and the Alster lake. Trade show and convention attendees have a wide range of options to spend leisure time in Hamburg. The city offers a huge selection of restaurants, theaters, musicals, museums and shopping districts to enjoy when the convention center has closed for the day. Not to mention world-famous attractions accessible around-the-clock, such as the Reeperbahn, the Speicherstadt world heritage site, and above all, the scenic Alster lake and the majestic Elbe river.
Over the course of decades, countless international conventions and groundbreaking events covering a wide range of industries have found a home at the CCH – Congress Center Hamburg. With its multifunctional halls and rooms, the CCH easily adapts to the requirements of any event, from high-flying scientific medical conferences and industry association conventions of many different sectors, to annual general meetings of publicly traded companies and company presentations, through to spectacular cultural or social festivals, all that right in the heart of Hamburg.
The famous port city is part of one of Europe's leading economic regions. Numerous forward-looking and trendsetting industries have found a home here, on the banks of Elbe and Alster. Hamburg is a powerhouse of famous brands, a media hotspot, a major seaport and trading hub, and the third largest civilian aviation center.
