Venues for country authorities
Easyfairs donates use of halls
Eric Everard, CEO and founder of Easyfairs, promises "as much help as possible" and is "impressed and touched by the unconditional and far-reaching commitment of the authorities and health services all over the world" in the fight against coronavirus. The company, which organises more than 200 trade fairs, events and exhibitions in 14 countries and operates ten exhibition halls, has decided to take an active part itself. Because no fairs are being held at the moment, Easyfairs has proposed to the Belgian, Dutch and Swedish authorities that they use the halls for whatever they need to, free of charge. That applies to Gent (Flanders Expo), Antwerp (Antwerp Expo), Namur (Namur Expo), Mechelen (Nekkerhall Brussels North) in Belgium, Hardenberg and Gorinchem in the Netherlands, and Kistamässan in Stockholm, Malmömässan in Malmö and Abymässan (Göteborg) in Sweden.
