Frédéric Bougeard will take over the helm of Messe Frankfurt France as its president on April 1, 2020 after joining the company as general director on January 20, 2020. Bougeard succeeds Michael Scherpe, who has headed the company since its foundation in 2002 and has been working for Messe Frankfurt for 40 years. Bougeard has already worked in various senior management roles in the exhibition industry. Since 2001, he has been the head of Maison & Objet Paris. The exhibition portfolio of Messe Frankfurt France includes the textile trade fairs Texworld Paris, Apparel Sourcing Paris and JET Expo.
