On January 1, 2020, Jörn Holtmeier (41) took up his role as director of Auma, Berlin, the Association of the German Trade Fair Industry. He was previously deputy office manager of the Daimler Group agency for federal affairs with the focus on transport and environmental policy. His predecessor Peter Neven (66) left the association with effect from December 31, 2019. He joined in 1988 and, from 1990, was director and head of domestic fairs, from 2006 as sole executive manager and from the end of 2017 as general executive manager. Auma boasts 73 members.
