In 2020, Messe Stuttgart expects to achieve 185 million euros and thus its strongest year to date in terms of sales, "as long as there are no major cyclical downturns", said Ulrich Kromer, spokesman of the board of directors of Messe Stuttgart, who retires at the end of January 2020. Roland Bleinroth will then take over his role and Stefan Lohnert will join the board. Back to the figures: In 2019, Messe Stuttgart generated some 125 million euros, although an odd-numbered year in which many large international trade fairs take a break for cyclical reasons. Both the positive development of the location's own events and the growing attraction of the Stuttgart location for guest events and conferences were contributory factors.
