Oliver Wedekind (51) verantwortet seit dem 1. Januar 2020 das Vertretungsgebiet Nord für die Deutsche Messe, Hannover, und folgt damit auf Doris Petersen, die als Geschäftsführerin bei Hannover Impuls neue Aufgaben wahrnimmt. Wedekind übernimmt die Funktion des Director Public Affairs zusätzlich zu seinen Aufgaben als Leiter des EU-Büros der Deutschen Messe in Brüssel, das er 2007 aufbaute.
