Messe Frankfurt RUS, the Russian Messe Frankfurt subsidiary, is expanding its portfolio of fairs for food technology and will in future stage the Salon du Chocolat Moscow under licence for the sector leader Chocoloco International, Geneva. Salon du Chocolat Moscow is the only trade fair wholly dedicated to the production technology for cocoa, chocolate and confectionary products. Besides Modern Bakery Moscow, which it took over in 2015, Messe Frankfurt RUS now has two fairs for food technology in its portfolio. The eighth edition of Salon du Chocolat in Russia will take place from March 19 to 21, 2020. The "original" takes place in Paris and in 2019 celebrated its 25th anniversary (October 31 to November 3). The Swiss organisers will support their festival of chocolate in Russia with international marketing campaigns and suitable concepts. The first edition of Salon du Chocolat Moscow under the Messe Frankfurt flag takes place March 19 to 21, 2020 in the IEC Expocentre in Moscow, Modern Bakery (March 17 to 20, 2020) will run concurrently.
