Jan-Raphael Spitzhorn new director of Kölnmesse's Photokina
Jan-Raphael Spitzhorn (39) has taken over as new director of Kölnmesse's Photokina with immediate effect. The business administration graduate has been with the company since 2012, initially in the corporate development sector, where he already provided strategic support for Photokina and worked on fundamental reorientation of its concept from 2016. One of Spitzhorn's new tasks will be to further develop innovative segments such as mobile, motion and digital imaging within Photokina, which will pose a particular challenge when it switches from a biennial to an annual event from 2020. Spitzhorn is taking over in a smooth transition from Fabian Ströter, who is stepping down for personal reasons.
