Italian Exhibition Group (IEG) will be relaunching FoodNova, an international event focusing on new dietary needs, from gluten and lactose-free to vegan. The relaunch will include a switch from an annual to a biannual event. The upcoming editions will run from February 15 to 18, 2020 in Rimini alongside Beer&Food Attraction and from November 7 to 11, 2020 alongside Cosmofood at the Vicenza exhibition centre. Based on 32,000 and 20,000 attendees at the last editions in Rimini and Vicenza, the relaunch will provide FoodNova exhibitors with strategically important, qualified business platforms. Another important component of the two expos is the inclusion of the free-from sector. To give the project new impetus after seven years, Patrizia Cecchi, IEG´s Italian Exhibition Director, has been named new Managing Director of Exmedia, the company that organizes FoodNova. Patrizia Cecchi will be taking over from outgoing Juri Piceni.
