atelier damböck takes over blu donau

Gwen Kaufmann - Wednesday, October 30, 2019

As of September 1, 2019, Austrian trade fair service provider blu donau has been in the hands of Atelier Damböck Messebau from Neufinsing near Munich. With just 8 employees, Linz-based blu donau, established in 1991, had become one of the leading trade fair service providers in Austria. Under the new name Blu Donau Atelier Damböck, the company will now operate independently within the Atelier Damböck Group, retaining its existing base in Linz, which will be headed by Wolfgang Kreutzer (53). Simon Damböck (40), Chairman of the Board at Atelier Damböck, will take over as Blu Donau’s new CEO. Blu Donau co-founder and architect Wolfgang Kofler will be staying with the firm, while previous owner Helmut Reiter has moved on to new pastures, but will continue to offer selected, independent consulting services.
